The Mesa Public School District is trying to close Jordan Elementary for all the wrong reasons. Just because things look or sound good on paper does not mean they will work out in real life. They are trying to take 600+ kids and divide them in to 2 other schools which would make the student teacher ratio go through the roof and there is also no room in one of the schools for 400 extra kids which with the new boundaries thats the amount that would feed into that school.

Please visit this website and sign the petition to save Jordan.

Also there is another school board meeting on Wednesday Feb 27th at 7:00pm in the Hendrix Jr High Auditorium. Many of us will be at this board meeting expressing our opinions on the closure of the school.

The more help we have the better impact we will have!!!
Please come and join us.

Have they decided on the matter yet? They are doing this to a few other schools I just think it is wrong.
